Winter Time Fun

We of course had to make Christmas sugar cookies this year. Hailey kept saying they are for Santa and for US! The kids had to help every step of the way. They helped make the dough, roll and cut the cookies out, and frost and sprinkle them. They did a really good job. We didn't even have a huge mess. Brian just missed the bowl with the egg he had to crack all on his own. I even got that on video. They also took some cookies around to our new neighbors and one of them called them "Christmas Elves". They were so cute. Raegan hung out in her highchair while we were busy little beavers in the kitchen.
This was the first big snow fall of the year. My kids couldn't wait to get out in the snow and play. They had to throw snowballs and make snow angels.They also discovered a new way to sled right in our back yard. They use their sleds to go down the slide and into the snow. It actually worked really well. The second time it snowed we even built a jump to go over which they thought was really cool! Soo so so much fun.
