Early Easter Present

Our early Easter Present was little miss Emilynn Jane Hill on April 2, 2010. My sister Amanda and her husband Levi had their baby and she was a sweet little girl (we did not know what the sex of the baby until she came). We had a little bit of a scare getting her here.

She had to arrive by emergency c-section. The doctor decided to go that way when her little heart rate dropped way to low during labor and it turned out to be the best thing because that poor little girl was face up and stuck with the cord wrapped around her neck and she had pooped. This poor little thing had a lot of things working against her so luckily she had a great doctor working hard for her and did the best thing for her.

Everything turned out just perfect. "Little Emmy" (that is what aunt Kiffany calls her) weighed a good 6 lbs 7 oz and was 18 3/4 inches long. She is a little doll and doing great. Mommy is doing well too.

Proud mommy and daddy, but so relieved to have all that scary stuff over with!

We have waited so long for our cousin to get here. We love her so so much!

This just shows you how fast they grow. Only a few short months ago our Raegan was this small. It is so amazing.
