Riding on 2 Wheels!!!!

At the beginning of summer Brian and I decided that he would learn how to ride his bike without training wheels. The deal was if he learned how he could have a new bike for his birthday (which if you can tell from the pictures he desperately needed, he had out grown his little one)

Well summer zoomed by as you all know it tends to do and pretty soon it was the middle of July and Brian's birthday was in 2 weeks and he had not practiced riding one bit. So like a crazy mom I started working with him. We would walk up to the church parking lot from our house because it is a huge open area which was perfect for learing to ride a bike. And what would you know he learned in about 2 days. He was just absolutely amazing. He thinks he is so so cool and big now!!

Hailey had a ball to riding around as fast as she could possibly go. She was a good sport though when her little brother wanted to race, she LET him win. (That is very hard for her to do, as she is so competitive!)

Here we are walking back home!! Needless to say Brian got his new bike for his birthday! He is a big boy now!! I am so proud of him!
